I'm at that point of needing to convert my youngest daughter's bed into a big girl bed too-- and I'm terrified. I need my sleep! Just like mo...I have NO IDEA what sleep is anymore! Just like most parents. My oldest was somewhat like your son. Awakening at all kinds of crazy hours. And a few times she scaled all forms of protective barriers we put in place. I was exasperated and it doesn't look like that's gonna change anytime soon!
