Call me Serendipity. That's the nickname I got in junior high in NYC. I guess I've always been proud to celebrate the random, nifty, and even the bittersweet.
I consider myself the Queen of Silver Linings. I frequently write about the struggle to find the bright side of life and motherhood, while looking out for unexpected treasures, and committing random acts of photography.

Growing up a military brat, I moved fairly often. After earning my BFA in photography and design, I returned to the place that had always felt like home in my heart, New York City.
Nearly two decades later, I'm just hitting my 40s, married to a not-quite-Americanized Irishman, and raising a my not-so-little Rebels.
I'm passionate about breast health, promoting kindness as the key to everything, advocating for my ADHD kid, and writing about all my new discoveries here, and as a contributor to UrbanMommies.
